Commencé vendredi dernier dans la voiture, fini ce samedi : un encours qui n’aura duré qu’une semaine, un record pour moi.
Started last Friday, ended this Saturday : a wip which lasted only one week, a « world » record for me !
En fait, j’avais déjà cogité dessus le jeudi après avoir fini le Stripped pour Chéri et avoir galéré pour les finitions (et donc fini 3 jours après son anniversaire).
Actually, I did start to think about it last Thursday, after ending Stripped for Darling and having troubles with finishments (and so ended it 3 days after his birthday).
Juste pour vous montrer, voilà à quoi ressemblait mon « patron », suivi d’un essai miniature pour tester.
Just to show you, here is what my « pattern » looked like, followed by tiny test.
J’avais commencé par monter 130 mailles, mais là je me suis dit que ce n’était pas une bonne idée : c’était la première fois que je faisais des rangs raccourcis, avec un « modèle » improvisé et très grossier. Et 130 mailles c’est long à tricoter et long à défaire et à refaire en cas d’erreurs. J’ai donc opté pour ne monter que 100 mailles. Forcément après c’était un chouilla trop court pour les emmanchures (ou alors le gilet m’arrivait au dessus du nombril) donc j’ai du bidouiller. Mais j’ai défait en effet pas mal de fois, donc je ne regrette pas d’avoir du bidouiller et donc d’avoir évité de défaire/refaire sur 130 mailles, sur 100 mailles c’est déjà bien assez.
I started once with 130 stitches, but then, I thought it was not a good idea : it was the first time I was knitting short rows, with an improvised gross « pattern ». And 130 stitches is long to knit and long to unravel and knit again when mistakes. So I decided to only cast on 100 stitches. Of course after it was a little to short for the sleeves holes (or the vest would be top of my navek), so I had to hack my knitting piece. But indeed I unravaled quite a lot, so I don’t regret using tricks to end and so having avoid to unravel and knit again 130 stitches, 100 stiches is long enough.
La preuve : je tricotais sans réfléchir dans la voiture et j’ai simplement continué en rangs raccourcis après l’emmanchure… résultat : un bas du dos de la bonne largeur (45 cm) mais pas le haut ! (environ 6 cm). Merci les fils de survie !
As a proof : I was knitting in the car and I simply went on knitting in short rows after the sleeve hole… and I got a back bottom at the right lenght (45 cm) but not the top ! (around 6 cm). I love life threads !
Voilà le résultat. A plat je trouve que ça ressemble à rien, mais porté, j’adoooooooooooooooooooore 🙂
